Bringing Porsche to Your Screen
Making digital feel as personal and intentional as the car itself.
Why This Feature Matters
Porsche buyers often wait 6–18 months for their vehicle to arrive.
While the purchase is deeply emotional and premium, the long delivery window risks losing engagement. Through research, I discovered a simple but powerful behavior. Many customers screenshot their configured Porsche and use it as a phone wallpaper. They want to feel ownership even before the car arrives.
This insight became the foundation of the feature. It’s not just personalization. It’s identity.
Make Waiting Feel Like Owning
Adapting to 170 Vehicle Colors
Each wallpaper automatically renders one of over 170 Porsche paint codes. This system-driven approach made mass customization possible while preserving a handcrafted feel.
Flat Renders for Black & White Vehicles
Black and white cars, Porsche’s most popular colors, lacked depth when rendered digitally. I solved this with layered contrast logic that kept the finish premium and true to real-world lighting.
Logo & Text Visibility
Logo and model names had to remain clear across all colors and backgrounds. I defined rules for contrast, placement, and balance to keep every version visually elegant and on-brand.
Design Logic & System Architecture
To maintain visual and technical consistency, I built a modular design logic defining how every element interacts from paint color and logo position to lighting and contrast. This ensured smooth implementation by engineering without losing Porsche’s visual identity.
Turning anticipation into a touchpoint for connection.

The screen is the new showroom
During the long wait between purchase and delivery, the mobile screen became Porsche’s most intimate brand touchpoint. Each wallpaper mirrors the exact car model, color, and trim. No placeholders, no templates. Just their Porsche.
From Insight to Interaction
Owners were already screenshotting their configured cars. I turned that behavior into a native experience inside Track Your Dream. The feature pulls real vehicle data to instantly generate personalized wallpapers, letting users preview styles and download with one tap.
Style Variants for Different User Types
3 visual tones were designed to resonate with different drivers. Some bold, some minimal, all maintaining Porsche’s visual language and consistency across digital touchpoints.
Turning anticipation into a meaningful brand experience.
